Handmade Buddha Statue - Peace, Love & Meditation

Cast in resin and lovingly hand painted and finished by Bali artisans, this classic Buddha is highly symbolic. The Dhyana pose shows both hands in the lap with the back of the right hand on the palm of the left hand and thumbs touching thus forming a mystic triangle. This is the meditation mudra, which symbolises wisdom.

The word Buddha means enlightened, with the path to enlightenment attained by utilising morality, meditation and wisdom; meditation helps to awaken truth. Meditation, spiritual / physical labour and good behavior are believed to be the ways to achieve enlightenment, or nirvana.
